All loyal, no opposition

So we moved into these digs nearly a year ago (more on that later, for those of you who've not yet received your engraved invitations to the anniversary soiree), inspired in part by the notion that something was going to be different, now that Democrats had won an election, or, rather, that hundreds of Democrats had won hundreds of elections on a national scale. Yeah, right. Good thing we discovered our true calling was the latest in hermaphrodite news and that the $1047 jar of anti-seizure meds is now in my possession because holy crap do these people not even know how to vote "no"?

I read today that Feinstein says that Mukasey is the best we're gonna get from Bush and therefore she'll support him. I'm sorry, what? Since when is his "best" even remotely good enough?
