According to the outfit that made up the test, the average score of self-identified elected officals (out of the 2500 people in their sample) was 44%. Explains a lot right there.

At least it wasn't the annihilation I thought I was in for. Hope my National Board test goes as well next spring.
I missed 6, for a score of 81%. Not bad for someone who always hated history classes! :)
The 44% thing frightens me.
Board cert? You realize that'll cut in to your Facebook time, right?
Not only 44%, but believing--or guessing, actually-- that the electoral college has something to do with televised debates.
Awesome.
A few of those I bet I wouldn't have known for sure if I didn't teach that stuff. I did recognize the line from the Gettysburg Address, though, thanks to Mrs. Yoakam in 8th grade.
